Jane Logsdon

I grew up in Chicago in the USA. I am married to a wonderful man and have 3 grown children who are married. We also have 6 precious grandchildren.  Most of our married life in the USA has been in northern Illinois. 31 years ago I began my own early childhood center where I was the director and head teacher in both the 3 and 4 year old classes. Then my family moved to Jerusalem, Israel where I taught the early childhood classes for 7 years. After Israel and before moving to China, I have taught first and third grades, and was the Administrator of a Montessori school back in the USA. The past 9 years in China, I have taught in ISC schools in Qingdao and Tianjin. I helped start an early childhood center in Qingdao where I was the principal. Other teaching positions I did, have been Middle School ELS and grade 2. This year, I am a Grade 3 teacher in Yantai. This is my 31tst year of teaching! My passions are the ocean, taking walks, playing with my grandkids, exercising, traveling, reading, and having coffee with friends. I love working with children as they grow in their learning, character development, and develop problem solving skills that will help them to be self- learners.
