LifePlus High School Soccer Tournament

Yantai Huasheng International School was honored to host the 2025 LifePlus High School Soccer Tournament last weekend. Five LifePlus schools participated in the event. Determined to improve on last year's performance, the YHIS boys entered the tournament with focus and energy. On the first day, they won their first three games, securing the top seed for the elimination rounds. 

The following day, they faced the CDIS Pandas in the semifinals, winning decisively and advancing to the finals against the ISQ Dolphins. The Dolphins played with a strong defensive strategy, looking for opportunities to counterattack. Despite the Sharks' efforts to break through the tight defense, they were caught off guard by a counterattack and ultimately finished in second place — the highest finish in YHIS Soccer program history. 

The YHIS girls team started strong with a win over the CDIS Pandas in their first match. They fought hard in the remaining games, losing narrowly in close contests, and ultimately placed fifth in the tournament. Their commitment and courage on the field laid a strong foundation for future seasons.
