  • ZOO-bilee

    June 2 – Grade 1 presented their Zoo Exhibits today. Each student researched an animal and created a diaorama of their habitat.

  • Water Fun

    May 24 – Bright Start had a sunny day to play with water balloons, a water maze, and a variety of water games. They also made colorful tie-dyed shirts to wear.

  • Spring Singing

    May 19 – “Singing Our Way through Spring” was the theme for this year’s Bright Start (ages 3, 4, & 5) program.  The kids were adorable, as were the chicks!

  • Spring Concert

    May 12 – “A Musical Journey” was the theme as students presented songs from around the world in a lively and enjoyable evening under the direction of Mr. Joel Visker.

  • Royal Thymes

    March 1 – The first issue of the Royal Thymes, YHIS’ student newspaper, was published today.  Congratulations to our writers, editors and photographers on a job well done.

  • 100 Days

    February 7 – Today marks a special milestone of the 100th day of school.  Elementary students participated in activities of counting and creating with 100 items.

  • STEM Projects

    January 20 – Today our Grade 1 students presented their STEM projects.  They displayed 3-D constellations and showcased their solar systems for their parents.
