TIANMUN (Model United Nations Conference)

On November 7-9, 22 representatives from Yantai Huasheng International School participated in TIANMUN, a Model United Nations Conference hosted by Tianjin International School (TIS), one of our LifePlus sister schools. The conference brought together over 200 students from across China for a dynamic experience in diplomacy and debate. 

This year’s theme, “Convergence of Calamities,” challenged students to address pressing global issues, including AI regulation and child abuse. Our delegates truly embodied our values—Learn, Love, and Lead—as they connected with peers from cities Beijing and Shanghai through meaningful discussions and collaborative problem-solving. 

With many first-time participants, they excelled as delegates. Their speeches highlighted their chosen actions, adding to the friendly sense of competition that made the event both enjoyable and memorable. It was a valuable learning experience, and we are already looking forward to joining the next conference with even greater enthusiasm.
