Welcome to our community, Mr. Kevin Chan!

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Kevin Chan as our new learning support teacher at Yantai Huasheng International School. With 23 years of experience in education, Mr. Chan brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to student success.

Originally from California, USA, Mr. Chan has a Master's in TESOL and a Master's in Education in Curriculum Instruction. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that all students can succeed with the right support, compassion, and honesty. He values the process of learning from failure, guiding students to recognize that setbacks are stepping stones to growth and understanding.

One of Mr. Chan's most memorable teaching moments came when he helped a student win the Digital Voice Award in 2011 by adapting a science project to align with the student's passion for technology. This experience highlighted his dedication to tailoring his instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
