Welcome, Mrs. Rachel Chan

Welcome to our community, Mrs. Rachel Chan!

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Rachel Chan as our new third-grade teacher at Yantai Huasheng International School. With over 20 years of experience teaching from kindergarten to sixth grade, Mrs. Chan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our community. 

Originally from California, USA, she moved to China with her family to explore a new culture and build meaningful connections. Deeply inspired by her own teachers growing up, Mrs. Chan strives to make a difference in her students' lives, not just by teaching academics but also by encouraging personal growth and character development. 


She believes in fostering a positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth. “Failure is success in progress,” she reminds her students, encouraging them to embrace challenges with a teachable spirit.
