International Schools Consortium

International Schools Consortium (iSC) is a nonprofit organization that, since 1986, has offered excellent academic programs to meet the intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of students. iSC has six schools in China — in Chengdu, Qingdao, Wuhan, Wuxi, Tianjin, and Yantai — one school in the UAE, and helps to support various other educational initiatives globally. iSC is a multi-school program, enabling students and teachers to participate in system-wide programs where they can interact with others outside of their immediate school. Students compete in basketball, volleyball and soccer tournaments, as well as music and choral festivals, and Model United Nations (MUN) conventions.

Jessica Winston

I was born in Brazil, lived in Taiwan for eight years, and then moved to Long Island, NY, where my family now resides. Having grown up being nurtured in a wonderful family of eight and attending international schools all around the world, I have become passionate about life and am now deeply honored to explore the wonders of our world with the YHIS students. I hope to do so by not only providing meaningful content, but by helping them engage with their whole self – heart, mind, and body.

I am thrilled to be back in Asia (13 years later) and am excited to get to know the YHIS students. I love to explore beauty – to hike, try new foods, read a good book, enjoy a sunset at the beach, and when in doubt, drink tea.
