Uniform Survey and Elementary Field Day

Labor Day Holiday
Thursday and Friday, May 1–2, will be holidays with no school. We hope you enjoy a wonderful time with your family!

Uniform Survey
Now that a few weeks have passed since students received their formal uniforms and hoodies, we would appreciate your feedback on your child’s experience with these items. Please take a few moments to complete the Uniform Survey by May 16, so that we can improve the quality and overall satisfaction with our uniforms.

Formal uniforms will be required in the following situations:
• Once a month for school assemblies
• When performing on stage (e.g., TEDx events or performances)
• During visits from special guests (such as board members or government officials)

At all other times, students may wear any approved uniform items, including hoodies, cardigans, or shirts.

Additionally, the school will plan to provide uniform bottoms (skirts and pants) for students next school year.

Elementary Field Day
We are thrilled to announce that Elementary Field Day is just around the corner, taking place on May 9! This event is sure to be a fun-filled day where our students can showcase their athletic skills, teamwork, and school spirit.

Classroom teachers have uploaded the details regarding students' team colors on ClassDojo. If you are unsure about which team your child belongs to, we encourage you to reach out directly to your child’s classroom teacher for clarification.

On Field Day, students are encouraged to wear comfortable shorts and a shirt in any shade that represents their team color. The festivities will kick off at 8:00 AM with our exciting 50-meter and 100-meter dash events. Following the races, students will have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of engaging stations, each designed to promote physical activity and teamwork. We warmly invite parents to join us in the excitement—come cheer on your child/children as they compete and have fun!

Additionally, we will be providing a hot dog lunch for participants and families. To help us plan accordingly, please RSVP if you and your family intend to join us for lunch.

At the conclusion of the day, we will celebrate our students' achievements by presenting race, team, and participation awards. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the hard work and sportsmanship displayed by our students.
