Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival
Deepening understanding of Chinese culture
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China, a celebration of the year's harvest and the full moon. It falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, with this year's festival set for September 17.
In celebration of the festival, our Chinese Department organized a mooncake-making activitiy for all students. They had fun learning about the history of mooncakes and making them.
It was a joy to see everyone come together to celebrate the festival and bond over the cakes. We hope everyone had a joyful festival with their loved ones.
