ECC in Yantai Launches a New Indoor Play Environment

The Early Childhood Center (ECC) at Yantai International School kicked off the new term with the grand opening of its newly redesigned second-floor indoor play space. This thoughtfully designed environment at ECC in Yantai features five fully equipped role-play stations—a park, shop, police station, hospital, and fire station—created to encourage young learners to explore, imagine, and learn through purposeful play.

Mr. Miller and Mr. Lasiewicz marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating this exciting milestone for our early years program. Students shared in the anticipation as the new space was introduced, with opportunities to engage in the play environment later in the day. Plans are already underway to further revamp the other side of the room, and Yantai International School looks forward to sharing the next phase of this inspiring transformation for our ECC community.
