Labor Day Holiday

Leaving Well Parent Workshop
We are excited to announce that we will be offering a “Leaving Well” workshop for parents. This workshop is geared toward families who are preparing to transition back to their home countries or to a new city, but all are welcome.

As a school, we strive to support our students and families during all points of their journey at our school, and leaving transition support is one of the ways we offer that support. Leaving is an inevitable part of living abroad, and can be difficult and stressful for the entire family. During this workshop, we will be discussing how moving can affect children, as well as practical ways to can help them to make the transition in a healthy way. Re-enrollment for the 2026–2027 School Year
An email with details about re-enrollment for the next school year has been sent to your email account. The re-enrollment portal on PowerSchool remains open until Wednesday, April 30. To secure your child’s seat for the 2026-2027 school year, please complete the re-enrollment process and pay the discounted tuition down payment of 5,000 RMB by Friday, May 29. Please note that the 5,000 RMB discount for the tuition down payment is applicable until May 29, thereafter, the tuition down payment will be 10,000 RMB.

Summer Camp Update
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the summer camp interest form. After carefully reviewing our overall operational capacity, YHIS will not be offering a summer camp program this year. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

High School Student Council 2026-27
Applications are now open for 2026-27 High School Student Council. Students currently in G8-G11 may now begin the application process, and can receive a form from their advisor. Application forms will be due on Thursday, May 7, and the elections will take place on May 20 and May 21. We look forward to the involvement of our students!
