PTO Christmas Market, Christmas Concert, Labor Day Holiday Adjustment

PTO Christmas Market
The annual PTO Christmas Market is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. The event is a festive gathering where community members come together to spread the warmth and joy of Christmas. Our PTO is planning the event for the whole school community.

Staff, students, and families are invited to set up a booth—whether selling crafts, hosting games, or offering items at a flea market or food/drink stand—for a fee of 70 RMB. Booth registrants will receive a festive Christmas-themed apron, tablecloth, and hair clip to enjoy during the event. Participate in the best booth competition for a chance to win prizes for the top three booths! Register for a booth by Friday, December 5 by completing the market registration form. Booth fees will be collected at the market, and booth locations, which will be assigned randomly, can be checked in the lobby on the day of the event. All profits will go to each booth owner, who may also choose to donate a portion to Yangfan Student Welfare Development Center, a school-adopted charity. The PTO will donate a significant portion of the profits to the center.

Christmas Concert
We are glad to announce the 2025 Christmas Concerts on December 12 and December 19! This will be a great way to spread the Holiday Spirit in our school while showing the great talent of our students!

ECC & Elementary Concert
The ECC and Elementary Christmas Concert will be held on Friday, December 19, at 10:00 am. All ECC and Elementary students will be performing in the show with their classes. They have been preparing music for the show in their music classes.

This year, all practice times will occur during the regular school hours.

Concert Clothes: In the morning of December 19, students can come to school in their concert clothes. Please do not wear clothes with writing or words. They should wear the colors red, dark green, gold, white, or black.

Secondary Concert
The Secondary Christmas Concert will be held on Friday, December 12, at 3:45 pm. The middle and high school choirs and band classes will participate in the performance. Attendance is mandatory for all students in choir or band class. Secondary students will not attend a dress rehearsal. They will practice during their regular class times.

Concert Clothes:

Middle School Choir/Band:
Pants: Students should wear black pants or skirts. Skirts should be accompanied with black leggings.
Shirts: should be white and formal. Boys' shirts should have a collar.
Shoes: should be black.

Boys: Should wear a red tie (purchase on your own).
Girls: Should wear a red scarf (purchase on your own).

Please do not allow large logos or words on the clothes and see an email from the music teachers about concert clothes details.

High School Choir/Band
Boys: should wear a black suit (black pants and suit coat) with a white dress shirt and black shoes. The school will provide a bowtie.
Band Girls: should wear a dress provided by the school. Please wear black shoes.
Choir Girls: should wear black dress pants or skirt, and a formal white shirt.

Labor Day Holiday Adjustment
According to our current school calendar, the Labor Day holiday is originally scheduled for May 1 only. However, to comply with the two legal holidays, April 30 has also been designated as a school holiday. The ECC Field Day, scheduled for April 30, will be rescheduled, and the new date will be announced later.
