Save the date for Christmas Market, Annual Report, High School Lock-in

PTO Christmas Market
The annual PTO Christmas Market is scheduled for Saturday, December 13. The event is a festive gathering where community members come together to spread the warmth and joy of Christmas. Our PTO will be planning the event for the whole school community. Detailed information will be shared in the coming weeks. Please save the date in your calendar!

Shark Times October, 2025
The Student Newspaper Club has published a newspaper for the month of October. The student journalists have worked hard to keep you informed about what happened in October and to deliver exciting stories and interviews to you. Please view our Shark Times.

Secondary Parent Open Class Day
Secondary parents are invited to observe classes on Friday, November 21, from 8:30 to 11:30 am. The day will begin with an opening meeting in Room 300 at 8:30 am. Afterward, parents are welcome to visit any classes of interest - even those their child is not enrolled in. If you plan to attend, please complete the registration form by Wednesday, November 19.

High School Lock-In
The High School Student Council will be holding a lock-in event for all high school students on Friday, November 21 - Saturday, November 22. Students can go home after school that day, and come back at 6:00pm for dinner, activities, and games. The purpose of the event is to improve the school community and have fun sleeping at the school. Girls will sleep that night in the school library, and boys will sleep in the 4th floor auditorium. Students should bring blankets and pillows to accommodate their sleeping. We hope all high school students can attend! The cost is 50rmb, charged to the lunch account. We will be handing out permission forms this week and will be due on Monday.

High School Spirit Week
The High School Student Council will be holding a Spirit Week next week in celebration of the lock-in event. Each day, students can wear a different theme. Students who do not participate in the theme should wear their school uniform. Here are the themes:

Monday - Dress like a teacher day
Tuesday - Twin day
Wednesday - Color day
Thursday - Crazy socks day
Friday - Pajama Day

TIANMUN
TIANMUN is a three-day United Nations simulation for G8-12 hosted by Tianjin International School (TIS). Students from schools all over China will work together to develop and debate innovative solutions to current world issues. TIANMUN is scheduled for November 13-15, and this year's theme is Convergence beyond Sovereignties.
