Announcement from Admissions Office
As we approach the end of the second semester, we understand that some families may be repatriating to their home country. If you know that you will be leaving YHIS at the end of this semester, we kindly request that you inform us by completing this survey before Friday, April 24. We will then send a withdraw form home with your child. We hope to have some time to support your child through the transition process and prepare necessary documents. Please note that upon submission of the withdraw form, we will prepare the necessary documents for your child. As the semester ends on Wednesday, June 10, the documents will only be available for pick up from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the admissions office on that day.

LifePlus Annual Parent Survey
We know that parents play an essential role in the success of students at school, and we thank you for your continued partnership and support. Family and community engagement is strong at LifePlus schools, and we aim to make it even better for our families, students, and teachers.
As part of our ongoing continuous improvement, we invite you to take part in our annual parent survey. The survey will ask you questions about your school’s learning environment, educational programs, your child’s teachers, school safety, school-home communication, and parental involvement opportunities. We need your perspective as we evaluate these aspects of our schools, and we appreciate your comments. The LifePlus leadership team, principals, and school improvement teams will use the results to help guide both the consortium and individual schools.
Labor Day Holiday
Thursday and Friday, April 30–May 1, will be school holidays. The holiday was originally scheduled for May 1 only; however, to comply with the requirement of two legal holidays, April 30 has also been designated as a school holiday.

Enrollment Open for MS French 1 and HS French 1 (2026–2027)
We are pleased to announce that MS French 1 and HS French 1 will reopen next school year for students who would like to begin learning French.
French is spoken by more than 300 million people around the world and is an official language in many international organizations. Learning French gives students access to new cultures, global opportunities, and strong communication skills.
These courses are designed for beginners with little or no prior knowledge of French. Students will develop basic speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while discovering French culture and traditions.
Students will be given the opportunity to choose their courses at the end of May. Interested students are welcome to speak with Mr. Thierry Lepinay (Room 312) to learn more about the courses. We look forward to welcoming new students into the French Department next year!
