Yantai students shine at the prestigious MUN conference

From November 13–15, Yantai Huasheng International School, a leading Yantai school, proudly participated in TIANMUN, the prestigious Model United Nations hosted by Tianjin International School. This year’s theme, “Consensus Beyond Sovereignty,” brought together around 300 students from Qingdao, Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai, making it a key event in the Yantai MUN calendar.

Many of our delegates were first-time participants. Although initially nervous during their opening speeches, they quickly gained confidence. By the end of the conference, they were actively raising questions, proposing amendments, and delivering speeches to advocate for their resolutions, demonstrating the strong leadership and communication skills nurtured at our Yantai school.

Throughout the event, our students deepened their understanding of diplomacy, teamwork, and global issues. They forged meaningful connections with peers from other schools, expanding their perspectives and developing a broader global mindset.

This enriching Yantai MUN experience strengthened our students’ courage to speak with clarity and conviction. Yantai Huasheng International School looks forward to next year’s TIANMUN and continuing to empower students to be confident, thoughtful leaders on the world stage.
