Mid-Autumn Festival, Elementary Parent Meeting, and Volleyball Tourney

Barista Experience Class for Moms
Thank you to everyone who signed up for the first term. We are excited to launch the second term of the Barista Experience Class for YHIS & YIA moms. The class will be led by our café barista, Mrs. Eunice Li, and will give participants the opportunity to learn and practice basic coffee-making skills. Please note that the class will be conducted only in Korean and Chinese.

Each session will run for one hour. Space is limited to 4 participants. If you are interested, please complete the registration form by Wendnesday, October 15. Once the registration closes, participants will be randomly selected, and those selected will be invited to join a WeChat group.

Class Schedule & Location
Time: 2:00–3:00 pm, every Monday, from October 20 to November 10 (4 weeks)
Location: School Café
Language: Korean and Chinese
What to wear: Long pants and shoes that cover toes

Mid-Autumn Festival
In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, students will take part in special activities on Monday, September 29. ECC, Elementary, and Middle School students will make lanterns, with ELS and French classes also joining in. High School students in Chinese class will enjoy traditional festivities such as lantern riddle guessing and mooncake tasting. We look forward to a joyful time of creativity and cultural celebration together.

Elementary Parent Meeting
On Tuesday, October 14, Mr. Lasiewicz invites Elementary parents to an informational meeting to:

• Introduce the new elementary report card
• Explain how to interpret the MAP report
• Share about the Celebration of Learning

The meeting will take place at 10:00 am in the 4th floor auditorium. We look forward to seeing you there.

No After-School Activity Next Week
Please note that there will be no after-school activities next week. Activities will resume on Monday, October 13.

YEASA High School Volleyball Festival
This Friday, YHIS will host the YEASA High School Volleyball Festival with Yantai International Academy (YIA) and Yew Wah International School (YWIES). Games will take place in our gym from 2:00–7:00 pm. Go Sharks!

Middle School Soccer Matches
This Saturday, our middle school boys’ and girls’ teams will face No. 2 Middle School from Kaifaqu on our home field from 8:30 am. Go Sharks!
